Manhattan tri

Anyone doing either manhattan tri? I might hit both of them. I did the one by Tuttle last year and liked the course. Swim seemed short which is great for me. The one that starts at the pool looks like it would be fun. Have they ever done that course before? If so, how was it? Thanks!
