Subject: RE: 7.23.16 SuperDeeDuper Saturday Pretty easy day for me. I tried to get my run in before it got too hot and muggy, but I failed. Since my horrendous time in the run last weekend, I decided it was time to work on speed a bit. So I started out by running one mile as fast as I could. Two days later I did 1.05 miles, and today was 1.10 miles. The next race I am eyeing is Labor Day weekend, so hopefully this will help out.
After I got back and cooled off a bit with some iced tea, I did my normal 2 minute plank followed by my new normal 22 pushups.
This afternoon may find me at the Y for a longer, slower run on the indoor track.
Tomorrow is a training session with our Tri club (NWI Triathletes ). It's supposed to be 20 minutes open water swim, 40 minutes bike and a 20 minute run.
Have a great day everyone!
