Subject: Bike shorts
Any of the Clyds on here have an issue with the bike pad not covering their sit bones? I feel like my big rear end causes the pad not to be far enough back- causing all the padding to only protect shoft tissue and not the sitbones.


I am in the market for a new seat so that may change things however I feel like my pad is not in right spot. Doesnt seem to be a compnay specific issue:
I have same issue with Pearl iz/Desoto 500/desoto forza/aerotech design.

Could be a seat issue, or could be a positioning/bike fit issue. Given the wide range of bike shorts you seem to be having the issue with I would think it is something other then the clothing. Perhaps a close friend or partner could help identify where your sit bones are positioned in relation to the padding when mounted on the bike.

I know if I am off the bike for even 1-2 weeks, my seat feels like I am sitting on a piece of 2x4 turned sideways, but after some ride time I become readjusted to the hardness. A new seat is also on my list of wants for the new season.
