Good morning BT!  Back to regular life!  I do love my routine!

4:30am:  :40 minute run, mostly easy but 4 intervals thrown in the middle

5:15am:  :45 minutes strength stuff + core + a little time with the foam roller! Yowwwwch!

Later after school:  teaching kids bootcamp!

Josh...don't you dare apologize for your training...training is training!  Welcome!  And by the way--any of you lurkers that haven't posted, please! Feel free--it's accountability for all of us!  That's why the thread is here!

Karen...I start my swims out at Blue Lake this coming Sunday....brrrrrr!!!

Have a great day!

Thanks Kim

Today is an after work training day. Icy road conditions have closed all sorts of schools and a 10 minute commute took 30+! After work I will be hitting the weights! General full body session.

Squats
Cable crossovers
Overhead Press
Tricep Pressdown
Battle Ropes
Ab Work(so very much needed)

11 AM: 3100m of swimming in the outdoor pool (air temps of about 33, wind chill of 24--cold enough)! At least it was mostly distance sets so there wasn't much stopping involved.

My parents keep threatening to move to Boise (which is, gasp, even colder!). For several years now, I've thought each "last" outdoor winter swim was truly the last one. Maybe it is?? It's the only thing I wouldn't miss about Eugene, which I've considered home for 30 years. Tell me that Idahoans don't go in for outdoor pools in winter?!

2 PM: One hour run with some hill repeats in increasingly COLD, blustery weather--think it is working up to snow tonight or tomorrow AM.
