Subject: Open for business
Well, not really. But, give me a couple months.
I am open for my first small project....if anyone has one.

I'm now armed with a printer and have successfully printed a Pikachu, a Burj Khalifa, a couple different Pinewood Derby car shells, some A/V cable clips, bits and pieces to make my printer work better, a chip bag clip, some metric nuts, a Weeping Angel, a Tardis (what do you expect?...I am a geek with a printer), and various other items of dubious use and value. I have started to manipulate existing images, and am working toward raw creation.

I have the files for the Garmin quarter turn mount (other Garmin mounts are easily available).
I just don't have any need for anything other than a little storage box of some sort, but that level of creation is beyond me at the moment.

So, if you've got a little 'mount' thingy that you'd love to have made that will solve a problem...I'm willing to give it a whirl.

About the only thing I can think of is a better mousetrap for behind-the-seat mounts. None of the "expensive" ones were going to work for me....and they were too expensive. I bought a cheap..CHEAP one.....and it was near perfect. Except it needed to be bent at an angle. So I bent it. Which messed up the threads for the bottle cage. No big deal. Just retapped it. For $12.99 and free shipping, I have a rear cage mount that's far better than anything I could have spent 5x on.

With a printer, I could design lots of ways around that. I'm serious. I can't say I'll get it done all that quick. I still have a lot of knowledge acquisition to go. But a specific task is going to motivate me far more than printing a Han-Solo-frozen-in-carbonite-liightswitch-wall-plate that I downloaded off the interwebz.

I learned in this race that in order to finish the swim, you have to know where you are going. And in order to know where you are going, you have to learn to sight.
