Good morning BT!

5:00am:  :easy 20 minute run + some core

Later:  Kids bootcamp

I forgot to post yesterday!  I had a 45 minute OWS + 60 minute trail run with 6X 3:00 hill repeats in a muddy, mucky mess!

Have a great day!

Good morning all!

Work travel has me in Newport Beach for a few days so training will probably me mostly limited to runs as Uber'd in and no real pool here.

Anyway 1 hour dreadmill run with 10 minutes at 5K pace.

Have a great day!

Hey there. I was pretty sick Friday, throwing up enough to lose 5 pounds by Saturday morning. So, I did not make my Friday or Saturday workouts. 30 mile bike ride yesterday.

11:45 - 48' strength work. Indoor brick on the agenda for tomorrow. Fun times. Heading to Austin for work later this week. Will need to work in a good hour run in there.

Have a great week!

Sunday was a 8.5 mile run through the desert. Today, Monday was a 1 hr bike trainer session, medium effort followed by a solid 3.6 mile run.

4 mile moonlight run tonight.

Have fun down here in Austin, Lundy. I recommend the Lady Bird Lake trail. It's 10 miles of gorgeousness, plus a skip over to the greenbelt will offer many more trail miles along the Barton Creek.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
