Subject: 3.13.17 Monday Morning!

Hey BT!  Good morning!

4:30am:  :50 minutes on the trainer, high cadence sprint intervals

5:30am:  5X5 stronglift: squats, deadlifts, chest press, military press

I have a totally crazy week ahead--lots of traveling which I'm not a fan of during the week.  Today after school I'll be driving our younger daughter 120 miles west for a basketball tournament that doesn't even start until 7:30pm our time...this is just the start of the craziness!

By the way,  I have not chimed in on the 'do away with Triathlon Talk' thread...I know what it's worth to me and a few others that I know!

Yikes--Do you have to drive back afterwards??

PM: 3000m of swimming here. Back to basics with 15 X threshold-effort 100's. Ouch. Water way too warm so it felt like training in a bathtub! Not quite 8 PM here but about ready to call it a night.

Safe travels today Kim.

2500 yard pool set this morning.

Scheduled 1 hour trainer ride this evening.

Dialing it back a little this week as first race of the season is this Saturday.

12:15 - easy 800 yard swim to shake out after yesterday's race (which was a fiasco, thanks in part to my . .. exuberance).

3 mile run this morning after last week I was in class for 13+ hrs everyday, and traveling 80+ miles round trip each day. I did nothing last week.

2,500 yard swim workout session followed by a hot and sweaty 3.5 mile run.

With the time change, 80*+ temps and running off the swim, I really tanked on the run.

Either way, great weekend of workouts, look forward to getting back to work for a few days and doing it again!

36 min zone 2 run w/ 1 mile in upper zone 3 @ 8:27 pace. Meant to go into zone 4 but didn't run hard enough. After that, pull, stretching, and oatmeal!
