Swim suit help

 2 |  Subject: Swim suit helpHi all, I am training for my 1st, gulp, Tri. Problem I have is finding a swim jammer type practice suit that fits a short fat guy ( 5'6" 350lbs ). I am not nor ever been a swimmer but used to ride and do cross country. Having arthritis in knees, feet and hands mean I am only allowed to walk now but I did a HM last year walking and friend who does Tri's suggested I go for it. I have tried calling several manufactures but they do not do fat guy suits. Chafing and general uncomfortableness wearing beach bathing suit in pool is making me want to stop. I even tried using my aerotech design bike bib but was a bad idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

197  | Subject: RE: Swim suit help I don't know what size you are needing, but a quick search on swim outlet turned up a few jammers up to size 40 waist. Didn't see anything bigger, but I only searched for about a minute. I also looked at Aero Tech Designs for the tri shorts that I wear and they offer those in a bit larger size of 44" - 48". I am on my third pair (the chlorine doesn't do them any favors) in about a year and a half. I still wear the second pair when biking or running under another pair of shorts as they are a bit too thin to swim in anymore.
