Master 3127 Sunny Southern Cal | Subject: RE: 4.16.17 Happy Easter! Put in a solid 56-mile Easter effort on the bike with better attention to fueling than last week. Tried to simulate the Snow Canyon climb with a 4.5 mile 1050' climb at mile 44 on the bike. Since I got out late, the warmer temps on that climb slowed me down a bit more than I'd have liked, but it was still a good ride overall. I'll need to swim this afternoon because I skipped my planned swim yesterday. |

I have one today (Monday here). 2 1/2 hour ride yesterday (first hour or so on the road, mostly in the industrial park). It was actually quite nice over there early AM but I hadn't brought enough fluids to do the whole workout there, so finished up at home on the trainer. Mainly high Z2/Z3 alternating big gear and normal. Went out for brunch and then one of my student's parents invited me out for dinner (Chinese) so "refueling" went very well! |
