Pre-race routine:

Set up transition for myself and my wife (her first tri... she won her AG for the mini). Drink a bottle of Base Rocket Fuel and eat a Huma gel.

I hate people not self-seeding appropriately in a pool swim. Passed 3 people in the water and came out of the water right on where I seeded myself.

Event comments:

First year doing this race. Loved it. Kinda partial since my wife works for the hospital that sponsers it. Wish they would've had a scale for Clydesdales at check-in. I was talking to person who won the division and he was worried he would be disqualified if he was weighed because he was "well under" the 220lbs. and signs up for the division to guarantee a good position (he would've won his AG by 4 minutes. Alll-in-all it was a great event that I will do again in the future. Great volunteer support.

I was wondering what the minimum weight was supposed to be for Clydes. Some of those guys didn't really look all that big.

As for the swim seeding, it sucks but it happens....especially when you are swimming and seeding in a 25 meter pool. Simple as it is, some people don't have a clue how to convert a time from yards (which most people train in) to meters.
