Subject: 8.31.17 Thursday Training!

Good morning BT!

4:30am:  :25 min run with 8X:20 sprints :40 recovery, felt great

5:15am:  Strength + plyos

And now it's flight of the bumblebee this morning as I simultaneously get ready for school and pack for my trip to Austin!  My best friend and I are going to KetoCon, a nutrition conference for all things Ketogenic.  Hoping to meet up with that crazy Jamie character while I'm there too!

Karen, World's is in Tennessee?  I didn't realize that!  What a trip!  Enjoy your taper, you deserve it!

Yes, assuming I survive the next 36 hours without getting the flu, and passage through Tokyo without getting hit by a North Korean missile, am headed to Chattanooga on Tuesday. Stopping over in SFO for a long weekend with Mom en route (she's flying down from Oregon. She didn't want to go all the way to Worlds, but I wanted to treat her to a break before all the moving madness. (I think it will now be in late September. Houses have been bought/sold; just wrapping things up, in some cases, literally.)

No more early morning workouts!

4:30 PM: 3000m of swimming.

Going to bed soon--have a bit of a headache. Hoping it's just fatigue, stress, or tight goggles, and not first sign of flu (it usually isn't for me, unless this is a new virus).

3 mile run for me this morning. Not sure why, but everything felt really sluggish and slow. HR was in Zone 5 nearly the entire time...I wonder if I didn't sleep very well?

5:30 AM - 50 minute bike ride.  

 I felt sluggish and slow on the Bike today.  I felt slow on Tuesday morning on the bike too.  I assumed it was the bike.  Maybe I am not sleeping well either.
