Been traveling all week and good to be home. Haven't posted much this week.

Did six mile run this morning working on speed.

Weight and core training after the run.

Have a great Labor day weekend BT!

Easy ride to work on the MTB (5.5 miles), will ride back home in a couple hours. 70-80 mile group ride planned for tomorrow morning. Looking forward to some "west and wewaxwation".

It wasn't much fun, but I had a 1 hour strength workout today. My legs were still sore from the same workout on Wednesday. Yeah, it's the offseason for me. Ha.

Have a great day and weekend!

5:00 AM - 12 mile run.

My brother is getting ready for the Yeti 100 mile ultra trail run.  I was glad I didn't still have 88 miles to go when I was done this morning.

30 minute water run AM (not wanting to aggravate tendinitis before I have to) and hours after work of stressing about packing for 70.3 Worlds. In Tokyo now. OMG I hope I didn't forget anything important, and that they are putting my bike on the plane. And that no missiles sail over Japan tonight, I stay healthy despite the recent flu outbreak at our school, bike makes it to Tennessee next week with me, and I can actually run 21 km without falling on my face. What could go wrong here??

For those who remember last year's fiasco, I do have a backup Garmin (my run Garmin) on board, and have booked a bus tour of the bike course! Keep thinking the same dark thought I did at my first Vietnam 70.3, "This is a lot of work (and expense) for a T-shirt and a towel"!
