Subject: 10.17.17 Tuesday Training!

Good morning BT...is anyone out there?  I fear this thread is going the way of the dodo bird. Sigh.

4:30am:  :45 minutes on the trainer, solid Z3 intervals

5:15am:  upper body strength stuff + stretching

I think a lot of people raced last weekend; maybe they are recovering?? I may well be going the way of the dodo bird too, but I did do some workouts--

AM: 40 minute pool run.
PM: 40 minutes of strength stuff

Night here; actually about to go to bed. Didn't get much sleep last night. Since I came back in August, discovered there is now a cement depot down the street from my apt.; cement trucks every 3-5 minutes around the clock some nights, crashing over a big speed bump three floors below my bedroom. About once a week there seems to be a Lollapalooza festival for cement trucks. OMG. Trying to figure out if there are any channels to complain and if there are any rules about noise here--it's a small street between two huge apartment buildings and there are plenty of other ways for the trucks to go. The issue is probably affecting several hundred people's sleep.

Probably the only recourse is to move, but have a contract on this place till May, and REALLY don't want to move again after doing so just last year.

Haven't posted much since healing from injuries.

I have started running again but not too fast yet. Keeping distance under six miles.

Swim workout this morning and weight/core training afterwards.

Still training even if I don't see myself racing again because of knee issue. 2018 will be a wait and see how I feel when the season starts back.
