Merry Christmas everyone! It is a very white one here in Idaho with another few inches of snow overnight bringing us up to about six inches on the ground for Christmas day. I have definitely earned my Christmas dinner today!

AM: 50 minutes of running through fresh powder. Don't think I have done that since parents left the Midwest in my early 20's. Oregon valley snow is mostly wet or icy and rarely stays on the ground for more than a day or two. Felt a little guilty ruining perfect powder for potential XC skiers, but none ever materialized. Long ago we owned XC skis, snowshoes, sleds, and various snow toys, but they have disappeared over the decades. May need to restock.

Noon-ish: One hour trainer ride. Mostly Z2 with some high-cadence pickups.

PM: 30 minutes of snow shoveling.
