Subject: RE: 2.23.18 Freezing Friday! Take it easy. I think I had this virus last February/March (we test-drive them in Asia for the rest of the world ) and I missed a good three weeks of training. Each time I tried to do something ambitious (pretty much anything beyond lying on the couch and light housework ) I would end up relapsing. I'd been sick for almost three weeks when I had to go on a three-day school trip (aka no rest or sleep ) and ended up so sick I almost took myself to ER. The virus tends to come back with a vengeance (or maybe you get other infections on top of it ) if you don't give it the rest it deserves.
AM: One hour trainer ride with some pickups.
PM: 30 minutes of strength stuff
I think I lost most of the fitness I built up all winter during the three weeks I was home, and am starting from scratch again. Ugh. Edited by Hot Runner 2018-02-23 4:38 PM
