Anyone else?  Just registered, first time doing this course but I've heard good things.  Staying at Cabrillo Inn across the street from transition.  Should be a nice weekend.

You are staying just across the street from the Bathhouse where start, transitions and finish are. Unusual distance, but a pretty fun race. The water in the morning has been fairly calm every year I've done it. The bike has some hills, watch out for Toro Canyon it is a fairly steep downhill/uphill and has a lot of hairpin turns, so control your speed on the downhill. The run has a couple of hills, the turnaround is the toughest as you run down about a 1/2 mile down a steep hill to the turnaround, only to have to run back up it. Fairly laid back race, you can get a couple of beers at the Bathhouse after and you are already at the beach.
