So, what are you guys doing between Clemson and Lake Murray for training? I'm thinking of running and swim speed work, and a long ride, with some transition practice sprinkled in. Looking forward to a decent length ride to stretch out on and make up some time!

I rode short and fast today. I'm gonna ride long and slow tomorrow. Do a recovery swim Wednesday, and a short race pace run on Thursday. Then nothing. I figure I need the rest and I've got tons of stuff going on work and family wise on Friday and Saturday. I hope my legs react better on the run Sunday than they did at Clemson. Yikes!

Wound up doing a 21+ mph ride Monday, and track work today (2 x 400m, 2 x 800m, 2 x 400m). I plan to do a decent length ride tomorrow evening, capped by a "silent ride" for upstate cyclist awareness. 7 PM at the auction house on HWY 101; 6 miles out and back, flat, 12mph speed.

I'll probably swim Thursday, and a short run on Friday. Man, I'm looking forward to the 3 week break between Lake Murray and the Festival of Flowers to nail down some regular training. Need some long rides and some increased consistency.

I'm scrapping the rest of my workouts this week. Felt like I was cycling with dead fish for legs on Tuesday. Gotta give myself some recovery time. Hopefully I'll be back up to speed on Sunday. If not, I've got a sprint on June 2, then FOF on the 10th.
