Water temp at 71-77 degrees as of May 31.  Shouldn't be too cold for the temperature-sensitive.

71 is COLD! VERY COLD to me. 77 might be bearable. I hate cold water.
I agree, I am not a fan of being cold.  I would rather be too hot or wear a wetsuit, but oh well.  Just grin and bear it.

I originally decided not to do this race (chicken...bawk...bawk) because I've just started getting my training consistency back.  Then this afternoon I saw Haley was coming into town and was racing.  I decided I wanted to race, so I went online to register...no dice, registration is closed.  Crap...guess I'll be a spectator.

Definitely a great race. I've never seen one up close and it was very cool to watch. I feel a lot more confident about my first race next month.

The guy who won was pretty impressive. Was in the second wave of the swim...and was one of the 1st out of the water overall. 2nd? in on the bike, first on the run.

Keep in perspective that Richard is a pro triathlete and does this as his JOB.  He is also the nicest guy and good friend so I am biased.  I would watchout for him this year.  He is in incredible shape and should qualify for Kona as a Pro this year.  His wife also just posted a 3:10:10 at the San Diego Marathon last weekend!  RF is trying to better that marathon time (In the Ironman) at Couer d'Alene this month.
