Subject: Sports Drinks
I have been using SIS sports drinks during various activities and I am concerned the carb content is adding weight? Is this normal?

Also, can someone PM me a tried 'Natural' alternative that might provide the energy, recovery benefits without increasing the weight.

Any advice!

Lara_SD - 2004-09-20 9:33 AM i've never heard of SIS sports drinks but i haven't had any problems with accelerade...  its great at giving me sustained energy and keeping me from getting sore the next day

Have you tried endurox?  If so what do you think.

Yeah,

I got some, but haven't tried it yet.  I will after one of my long runs though.

I drink accelarade before long workouts (+ 1 hour).  It is also either in my bike bottle, or in 2 out of 4 fuel belt bottles on runs.

I drink 1/2-strength endorux after long workout.  I'm training for my first marathon, and am not sore the day after a 3 hour run!
