The meeting is on the 13th at Road Runner Sports off of 52 & Convoy. It's not posted because it was made on short notice.
Here's the email from Brian Long:

"Hello all,
Clear your calendar for the 13th. We will be formally announcing the meeting plans Monday, but clear your calendars for the 13th. Is this late notice? Absolutely. Does remaining flexible with meeting dates pay off? Absolutely. Will the meeting start late? Absolutely. Does Normann Stadler hold the bike course record in Kona and is he the defending champion along with winning in 2004? Absolutely."

Thanks for forwarding the email. I have not been added to the club roster even though I joined last month. The club site has the meeting on the 13th at Coastal Sports and Wellness. I do not want anyone to show up at the wrong place

Maybe one day I will be able to race an olympic all out.

There's no doubt about that... just keep it up and train consistently, you will find that you can safely push yourself more and more. And before you know it, you'll be there.

abud7373 - 2007-08-31 8:09 PM  I decided to do the supersprint because I am doing the Mission Bay Tri two weeks before. I thought it would bee too much since the MB is my first tri.

Im doing the Mission Bay Sprint and Im thinking of the super sprint too. 1. beacuse it's cheap at $36 and 2. becasue I feel like it's such a short distance that I could really make it s true "sprint" for me.  I can run all out for 1.5 miles.  Im still so new that while I'm very confident I can finish a  sprint distance, I still have to pace myself. The supersprint, I think I could go all out for and actaully "race" it if you know what I mean.  That just sounds like so much  fun :D

Maybe one day I will be  able to race an olympic all out.

I also aspire to do longer distance but I still have to do one sprint and see if I make it through. Then the supersprint. After that I will try to do my local club races. I think my next goal will be Wildflower if I can get in.

I'm sorry if anyone listened to me on this one... Apparently the meeting was in Sorrento Valley at Coastal Sports and Wellness.

I apologize if anyone did the same as I and showed up @ RR.

I wish I could. My hubby has to work, and my trusty babysitter(mom) is already watching them all day on the 16th. If you go, let me know how it turns out.

They moved the race back to Coronado. I ended up doing just the bike and the run. The last time I tried to swim there the weeds freaked me out, sad, I know. The race went well though. I actually like the club events better than regular events. Much more relaxed!

I'm definitely going to the clinic on Saturday and I'm going to try to get to the networking meeting. We'll have to figure out a way to know who each other is!

For those of you doing this, do you want to get together for dinner on Saturday night?

That sounds like fun. It would be nice to get to know some of you ladies

We have to do packet pick up between 10 and 4, so maybe we could arrange to do that at the same time then go from there to lunch or an early dinner.
