So I just got my tri wetsuit! Woo hoo! It's a sleeveless Zoot! I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on caring for it, cleaning it, or anything else that will help it stay nice a long time and not fall apart or get damaged!

Thanks so much!

Rinse it off with fresh water after you swim and let it drip dry.  Make sure you rinse out the inside and outside.  A lot of people store theirs flat.  I've always had mine hung up on a wide hanger without any issues.  Avoid keeping it in extreme heat or cold.  Watch your fingernails when you put it on.

I'm sure there's more.  That's the first jumble of random thoughts that ran through my mind.

How to care for your wetsuit.

Although wetsuits are mostly maintenance free, there are a few things you can do to extend the life of your wetsuit. If using the wetsuit in salt water, rinse the wetsuit with fresh water and drip dry on a wide hanger (plastic or wood). Do not leave your wetsuit drying in the sun, as the sun will age the material. Do not leave your wetsuit in the car on hot days, as this may cause your seams to weaken. Excessive use in chlorine (afterward...rinse with fresh water) may also age the material.
