Subject: IMLP 2007

Hi all,

Just wanted to tell all you IMLP finishers.. that IMLP 07 is on TV today 10/28 (4:00pm) and again 10/31 (3:30pm) on Versus. Grab a cold one and sit back and enjoy.Cool

OK that coverage sucked>>> Ironman needs to be told Kona and pro coverage is fine, but all other Ironman races should be about the age groupers. Who in hell wants to watch 4 pro girls that you never heard of doing a race? It’s great that they film the race but it’s us the age middle of the pack groupie that they should show more of. Maybe for just that second on the TV would be so cool "Like a Rock Star". Cool

I thought the coverage was okay but jthey ust need to get over these special interest stories.  This one was better than most as the guy they highlighted was pretty spectacular but it usually feels they are just searching for some, any story.

Besides, if you watch carefully, you get to see Aarons family (and me) when Belinda runs through the boathouse aid station.

For what it's worth, if you buy the DVD they sell the day after the IM essentially you get what you saw on Versus.  Received my DVD yesterday (coincidently ?) and it was the VS show.
