Champion 5575 Butler | Subject: Masters Swim Programs in Dallas Just curious what master's programs are available in the Dallas area, specifically close to Carrollton. I know of DAM, LT fitness in McKinney but what else is there if anything.
Thanks |

Plano, TX | Subject: RE: Masters Swim Programs in Dallas Dave Young runs North Texas Masters out of the the Lewisville ISD pool that is actually in The Colony. It is near Morningside and 121. He is there M-W-F from 5-6:30. He has a great program, and I know others on this board that swim there as well. I can get you more information if you PM me. |

Extreme Veteran 478 Houston, Texas | Subject: RE: Masters Swim Programs in Dallas Not knowing what part of Carrollton you're in but I know that Plano Wetcats meet in two different places. The new recreation center by Plano West Senior High School (Preston / Parker) offers morning and noontime workouts. Also there are evening workouts two nights a week. |

Thanks Right there with ya! Although, I would need something close to Las Colinas as I'll be working out there in a couple of weeks. I looked into DAM, but for $60 a month I can't justify the cost. I would probably only be able to make 1-2 workouts a week if that. Swimming at the Carrollton natatorium is only $2 a pop. If I could find a CHEAPER option than DAM I would be all over it... assuming I could make it the pool's location after work. There is no way I can make a 5:00 workout in Plano. |

I can go to 24 hour fitness for $25 a month but I would like something structured.kproudfoot - 2007-11-06 4:15 PM but for $60 a month I can't justify the cost. Plano, TX | Subject: RE: Masters Swim Programs in Dallas Wetcats are $45/ monthly; $105/quarter; and $400/annually, but they have many swim time options. For the new center referenced above in West Plano, the offerings are: Tom Muehlenbeck CenterMonday, Wednesday, & Friday mornings: 5:15 am – 7:15 am Monday – Friday noon: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Tuesday & Thursday nights: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm North Texas Masters are only $35 a month (a bargain, in my opinion), but only only M-W-F AM options. They have awesome locker rooms with showers, and equipment you can borrow (fins, kickboards, buoys) |

You don't at Dave's Masters swim in Allen. It's more per month, but you can do it. Maybe they offer the same thing with TTT. |

You don't have to be a LTF member. Master's swim is on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Kristen's email is [email protected] . Texas Triple Threat will have a new website in January. That site will include the tri club info. We had 11 swimmers there this morning. All with different swimming abilities. Two coaches on deck. They divide the lanes based on ability. It's a good group.
