Met up with Stacie (luv2ride) at Chatfield for a ride after work. Was fun to finally meet her, and have someone to ride with for once (I've been getting a bit bored lately)! Rode from Chatfield into the Ken Caryl Valley and around and back. Was a decent hill workout for me, even if it was a recovery ride for Stacie :)
Supposed to be 76 degrees today - woohoo!!! Bike ride this afternoon - now that the recovery week is over, I need to start getting some mileage in to meet my 200 mile monthly goal...

Guessing distance - swam 64 lengths of what I'm guessing is a 20 yard lap pool at the hotel health club. Alternated freestyle with one arm and fist drills. Pool was 85 degrees (!!!) - ick.

Brrrr - it's colder out than I expected - not a pleasant ride!! Did the usual route through Chatfield to Titan Road. Felt better than the other day, but average speed is lower!! Oh well - I need to stop worrying about how slow I am and just continue to put in the miles. Hope it's warm in Phoenix this weekend - I'm ready to bask in some sun...
I'm going to sneak out of work after lunch so I can ride before I have to leave for Phoenix. Besides, it's too sunny to be at work :)

Had a hard time not running more, but this is supposed to be a recovery week so I stuck to the plan. Figured it'd be good to give the lungs a rest anyhow - even though the whole run felt great!
Stupid asthma woke me up in the middle of the night - argh!! Guess that would explain why my bike ride felt so crappy yesterday - allergies are probably acting up and bugging my lungs. Oh well - feeling better this morning. Will ride or run tonight...
Looks like I'll be spending the weekend in Phoenix, wining and dining some of Nate's clients, which kind of puts a wrench in my plan to ride lots and lots this weekend - bummer! Guess I'll try to squeeze in some bike miles tonight and tomorrow and then run/swim/laze around by the pool in Phoenix... Hehe - you know you're a triathlete when your husband's company offers to send you to a nice resort for a weekend and you don't want to go because it inteferes with swim practice and bike plans ;)

From home, into Chatfield, out to Titan Road and back. Felt kind of tired and legs were really burning (guess my breakfast of champions backfired).

Ran around the neighborhood, then down to the gravel pond at Chatfield. Nate was down there taking Bailey swimming so I hitched a ride home with them. Felt pretty good - kept up the pace on the uphills. Splits:
