Good swim, felt fast and strong, feeling good about Monday's race! Had some lower leg/feet cramping issues near the end, not sure why? Hope that doesn't happen on Monday!

UGH, was not feeling this one today. Ended up bagging it when I got on the last block close to home before adding on another 4 miles or so. Slow and tired, hot and humid. I actually welcomed the wind! No mojo.... but at least it's something....

I am d.r.a.g.g.i.n.g. A.S.S. today... I don't know why I am so tired?? The alarm went off at the regular time and I just couldn't get out of bed, almost didn't get up the second time it rang an hour and a half later... gave up a swim this morning. Bagged a bike yesterday and thought I'd be sure to do one this afternoon and now the weather is saying winds of 20-30 mph today and tomorrow. And it's not enough that I'm dragging butt, no, I am also STARVING for all things sweet and crappy... see it, stuff it in my face. UGH! So I figure today will be an unplanned rest day, not good with 2 races coming up, guess I'll be nice and fresh! THIS is why I avoid rest days, it doesn't take much to lose motivation, and as long as I'm doing the training I can keep going like a machine!

CAPTEX Tri - Olympic CoEd Relay - Swim Leg

Had an awesome race with my 2 buds, Tammy and Lastazar Tucker! I did the swim, Lastazar did the bike, Tammy did the run. There was a LONG time to wait around before my wave started, we were the last wave for the Olympic distance. I was really feeling nervous, not sure why? Race was NOT wetsuit legal, water templ was 81. Felt strong and fast, and it went by quickly! Happy with this result, only a few seconds off my pool time, which for an OWS is good for me!
