A whole bunch of nuthin' today in the training dept.  Slept in a bit after watching some trash TV last night, went over to Kati's for coffee and then she took me out to lunch and before I knew it, it was over 100 degrees and no WAY was I going out in that.  So worked on my chore list, almost done crossing off one more thing... getting the kitchen chairs recovered.  They were NASTY, I need to be sure to ScotchGard these!  Now to dash outside to do a bit more RoundUp action (ie killing weeds) and hope I'm not soaked thru by the time I'm done.  4:30 and currently 107.... UGH!

Tammy came up and we went to the lake to OWS. Water was HOT, as was the air. It was blissfully cool right where my fingertips reached at the deepest part of my stroke, but near the surface was really warm. Just took it easy today, nothing strenuous.

Looking like a rest day today... was going to get out early for a long run, but daughter called me up first thing and needed coffee and mommy (hubby probs), so that's what I did and now it is too danged hot for a run!  Baby shower today and then we will see what the day holds for late this afternoon.... I'm thinking maybe some backyard pool time with some fake beer, maybe putting together the second patio set (first set went to Kati for her birthday....).
