Noots-New Road-Levee.
Holy humidity. Tough run, felt like suffering after the first mile. Even Rascal jumped in a canal at mile 2 & didn't want to get out.
This heat & humidity is going to be a major adjustment. Nothing about this felt "easy" . At the end, my pace was lower 8's (neg split), but I had goosebumps & thought I was going to vomit.
Quickly realizing why I got up to run at 3:30am when I lived in Atlanta.
On the plus side, the elevation gain was only 14ft, rather than 300+ in ELP. :) I miss the hills though.

Short run to keep legs moving. Out and backs on surrounding streets, ran partially in a field.
Still hot & humid. Drenched before a mile. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
Big neg split, 9:20 first mile, 8something the second. Wish MapMyRun kept mile splits.

Ran kind of fast! MapMyRun said 6ish, but I don't believe that. I'll log a 7:45. Might have been faster as I was pushing the 1/4's, but it doesn't really matter.
