Short recovery in the Vibrams. Much of this run was off-road which felt GREAT in these shoes. Definitely some soreness in the calves, but that went away about 2 mi. in. Dont look now, but I might actually meet my volume goals for the week even w/ all the work nonsense.
Hour on the trainer. Medium effort. Legs are tired.
February 19
Really slow and easy run. Perfect weather. I think it had been a week since my last run so I didn't want to go too hard.
So the 11p-4a turned into 11p-7a...Came home and slept for 2 hours and then back to work till 5! Really proud of myself for running tonight on such little sleep. Hopefully I can stay away from that damn Hospital for two days and get rested.

30 min easy ride on trainer. Consistent RPE 3-4.
Wow- work is reeeallly getting in the way this week. I have been pretty lucky really, but this week it is killing me. Between this being my on-call week and our main hospital catching fire last night it has been awful. Got home around 1:30am from the fire, back to work @ 7:30a and will have network maintenance tonight from 11p-4a = not a lot of sleep. Gonna get em in when I can, but I don't have very high hopes.

Got 5 minutes from the pool this morning (35min. drive @ 4:45am) and got called into work...2nd day in a row! Changing the plan and scrapping all swim workouts this week just cuz it ain't worth it. Will increase run mileage this week and make up swim workouts next week when I am off call. With temps all the way up to 42 tomorrow it looks like I will be doing this same bike wo on a real hill...yippidy.

Longest ride yet on the trainer. Wasn't too bad really. Played some NHL 09 online with a buddy while in the aero bars and the time flew by.
