Second trainer ride this week. Made my goal!
Missed the tri group - didn't get the email that said they were going to a lake for an OWS. So I jumped on the treadmill for a short run.
All right, two days in a row I've woken up with back pain! That's what I get for not being consistent with my training. But I'm gonna push through it and eventually it'll go away, right?
I've been awful about my training this year and this is what I've noticed: I'm more tired, I've gained weight, and I've got aches and pains even if I don't work out! I guess at my age (55), it's a constant battle just to stay "even" - where I'm not tired or in pain. Granted today I've got pain from training Tuesday, but I know that'll go away. But last week, I noticed that when I got up in the morning, I was achy and sore - in my shoulder, in my back, all over. It really is amazing how regular exercise can make you feel better! Now, if I could just keep that mantra in my head so that I get my butt out the door, right?

Just a little trainer ride this morning. I have a goal to ride on my trainer at least twice a week. (We'll see....)
Hill work with my new tri group - ugh!!
Awesome swim practice. I LOVE swimming with a coach .. it makes me motivated to not whimp out!

It was really a walk with a few runs thrown in ... it was what I had to do to get myself out of the door! Haha, the mind games we have to play some times.
