2009 - Bike, what's that???

Short term goals

Learn how my body is going to react to the Sotalol medication for my heart.  Try and salvage something from the season after adjusting to the stuff.

Help my athletes achieve better fitness and performances.

NOTE:  I am looking for more athletes that are desiring the assistance of a coach.  I can provide various services from a simple creation of a training plan for a specific event all the way up to one on one individualized plans on a month to month basis.  All at more than reasonable prices.  Feel free to e-mail or PM me if interested.

Long term goals

'09 RACE SCHEDULE (registered)

12.19.09 - Celtic Solstice 5 miler - 5th year of running this as a tradition.  Great race, great shirt.

'10 RACE SCHEDULE (registered)

05.23.10 - Columbia Triathlon - local and great course.  Probably start making it a tradition like the other races I do every year.  Beat last year's time.
07.25.10 - Ironman Lake Placid - 2nd time doing this.  Total relax, have fun, be prepared for the distance even with the heart issues.  "Experience" the event that is an IM again.

Nothing this morning again.  Bed felt too good and it rained most of the night.  Not going to say "I'll run when I get home" because my track record for that sucks right now.

Frame/bike/wheels are going on EBay by the end of the weekend if no interest here or on ST.

WTF??  I just couldn't get out of bed again even though I woke up when the alarm went off at 5:30 and could have.  Legs are sore, body is tired and there was no motivation to get up.  No run.  I'm a lazy unmotivated f-ck right now.

Oh ..... Blackbird and the 999's are up in the classifieds.  No interest there in the next few days, they are EBay bound .........

Just couldn't drag my lazy azz out of bed.  Woke up at 5:30 but stayed in bed until 6:30.  Will try to get on the trainer tonight when Mir goes out for her knitting group.

General Aerobic

Three of the shorter loops around the hood at a moderate pace. Forgot my medication last night, so the HR reflects that with a bit higher numbers than usual. It was about 35 degrees out and clear. Good run.

Monday = nothing.  Back at work, back to the old grind.  Not really sore or anything, just tired.

Gerenal Aerobic

Loop through Mont. and How. counties with CJ, James and friends. Good ride, nice and rolling/hilly. Casual pace which felt good as legs were a little tired and I took my medication before hand. Did work some of the hills a little and CJ and I had a fun little 2 man pace line going at the end.

General Aerobic

Out and back at a pace that just felt right. Not too hard, but not recovery. Overall a pretty good run. Furthest since the marathons. Windy and really cloudy, but no rain - in the 50's. No medication before hand which is why the HR got higher.

Supposed to have a guy's night out to go see 2012 but it sounds like one is backing out from a cold.  We'll see what happens.
