Finding balance. Session on the deck at dusk in this spectacular weather, which will soon come to an end.

Did my 3rd loop with Iron Jen. About .25 mile from looping left, Jen surged ahead and shortly thereafter, my slightly tender ankle became painful to the point that couldn't run (this had nothing to do with Jen, just a point of reference) decided to take green when I got to it and gimped to parking. Normally, this would put me in a tailspin. That is not happening. I will figure it out and do everything I can to be ready on race day. I will do the best I can, whatever that is on race day. No more pity party.

Day 1022 yoga flow for energy

Planning on signing up for Tbunk this week. I must admit, I have had thoughts of not doing it. Training has been up and down with trying to balance recovery with miles. Have done ok with long runs with 4 of 25 miles or longer in September and October (so far), but total mileage is too low. Mentally, not sure I can take another fail race. I have lost some faith in my body. I do know negative expectations will not be helpful. Also know DNS will not end well either.
