commute home. Nice west wind made things harder than they should have been but still enjoyed the ride. better than working.
Yeah...I made it to the pool.
Today's ride: South to North

Today's horoscope--time to recommit to my goals:
You're considering your health and the condition of your body -- in a nutshell, your appearance. And you know what that means: You're thinking of looking good for someone special -- and you want to make quite the grand entrance. Well, there's really no better time to recommit yourself to those New Year's resolutions. After all, you were far too busy to stay committed a couple of months ago.

Interesting ride. Windy as hell. Rode the 10 ten miles crosswind and with the wind averaging 22.5 MPH. By mile 13 I had dropped to 21 mph average. By the time I got home 18.5 mph. Effort was constant but the wind was just brutal coming home.
Still can't ride down hills in the aerobars on the TT bike...too damn fast.

Spent the day with my boys with no cell phone, no emai, and no computer. We moved the bunk bed into Jackson's rooom and built a loft in Caden's room. Boys love to build. Photos coming soon.

run from Hotel to route start
Ran one loop of the Ironman St. George course. BRUTAL marathon course. This is going to be a real challenge! All ups and downs with up to 8% grades. Most hills are long and gradual but I will feel the downhills in my knees and quads especially the second loop. I can't wait!
