flat on my back in a lonely sprawl i stare at the ceiling because i can not fall asleep tonight no not at all head lights flash across my bedroom wall crying eyes open because i can not fall in love with you no not at all
No workouts lately and maybe not until Sunday. I'm not losing it over it though, so that's good I guess.
Worked late last night and then went to the neighbors for dinner, wine and the Laker game. It was nice to relax. After work tonight I'm taking my son to his end of season party for soccer. His last game is tomorrow but since he qualified to swim in the meet he chose to swim rather than to play his last game. They'll eat pizza, get trophies and watch a slide show or something. He's fired up. Probably early to bed and then will be up nice and early to get to the pool by 7:00 AM. It will be a long weekend for sure.
For some reason I can't stop looking at dogs availabe for adoption. I'm not sure what has gotten into me. We had a dog for 10 years and she passed away in 2001. It was very traumatic for all of us and I've been hesitant to get another one for a few reasons. Our house is not big and we're often on the move. Getting a dog complicates things a lot and I'm not sure how we can make it work. My daughter has been bugging us for one for years, every since the cat disappeared three years ago. Now my son is on the band wagon and my wife has been caving for a few months. What am I thinking????? I should just say no but for some reason I'm starting to consider it. My wife keeps saying that she wants the kids to have the experience of having a dog and the memories of it. I just now that when the kids get older and move out it will stay with us but I guess that's not such a bad thing....
I hope everyone has a good weekend. Good luck to everyone at IMAZ!!!!!!!

It's not always true that time heals all wounds There are wounds that you don't wanna heal the memories of something really good something truly real, that you never found again
Old school tune. I'm holed up in the office and will be for most of the day/night from what I understand. It's pretty unusual for this to happen so I'm not to worried about it. Workouts are up in the air for tonight. Last night instead of working out I took care of some much needed house work. It's amazing how fast the house can go downhill when people are basically just running in to eat and change clothes before they go onto their next agenda item. During the week it's hard to keep up or catch up, so my time was spent wisely.
Although I never really have talked about it, I watch BL. Last nights show annoyed me for some reason. I'll leave it at that.
Does anybody out here use Twitter? I'm starting to try and figure it out a bit and could use any helpful tips. Anyone, Buehler?

Just as you take my hand Just as you write my number down Just as the drinks arrive Just as they play your favourite song As your bad day disappears No longer wound up like a spring Before you've had too much Come back in focus again
I really like that song.
I think this week is shot for swimming. I'm ok with it. I got the news that I might be in the office pretty late tomorrow so I'm going to try and swap tomorrow's workout to tonight but I'm not 100% sure that I'll be able to do that. This whole week is starting to look pretty bad, but again I'm ok with it. Next week I'll be back on track, and that's the facts.

I'm in a funk people! I'm not sure waht the scoop is but I'm ready to be over it.
The run last night was hard. My nutrition lately has been horrible. I'm not sure what my deal is, but I need to tighten up the ship. The holidays are upon us and I need to find a good balance going in or I don't stand a chance.
I've already missed a few workouts this week and will not try to make them up, but I will try and stay on track up until the weekend. This weekend is a big swim meet, which usually isn't a problem but this one is a bit different. I haven't really spoken of this, but my son has moved up two groups in swimming in the last two months. This is obviously great news as he's really progressing. He is one level from the top of the 8&U division and he's barely 7. Anyway, my daughter is swimming 9 events in the morning and he is swimming 6 events in the afternoon. We'll be at the pool from about 7:00 AM until abot 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. I'm not sure I'll have the energy or the drive to get on the trainer for 2 1/2 hours on Saturday night.....we'll see. I'm hoping to get in Sunday's workout although it again will have to happen after the meet and it's a 2/12 hour brick. We'll see. Anyway I'll quit sitting on the fence one of these days....
