 The ever changing world of my life.  We are moving!!!  A little background.  We bought a older (read: OLD) home about 5 years ago with the plan to fix it up.  Well, we learned that you can't just fix up an old house while you live there.  With the kids and the lead based paint you have to be real careful about what you do.  We found a duplex to rent out in the subdivision where my parents live.  Actually 2 houses away from my parents (sorry Mom).  This will be great for the kids, they have a lot of friends to play with, a nice yard to play in, and grandparents 2 houses away:  what could be better?  It will be good for Monica and I as well, as we will have a shower, dishwasher, and washer and dryer; all things we don't currently have.  The downside is I had to use my Ironman Lake Placid 2008 money to get the duplex.  I had the money saved and am only about 2 1/2 weeks away from signing up, but this fell into our laps and we had to jump on it.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do now.  I'm going to see if I can come up with the $$ before the date, but if not, it's just one of those things that you sacrifice for your kids.  The Ironman races are not going anywhere, so I'll just have to pick another one or wait another year.  Kids and family always come first.  Sometimes that's a hard perspective to keep in mind, but it has to be.  This also means work for me.  This gives me at least 1 year to work on the house with no one living there.  Fun, fun. 
Oh, well, I'm off, I'm going to squeaze a bike ride in this morning.
