back at the gym early this am. I WILL be so glad when this week is over and no more running downtown at lunch time to the work convention. I am ready to get back outside at lunch and run

 

10:05 Kelvin and I went to the gym tonight at about 8:00pm sort a nice change to go at night. not many people there. besides a little run I also did the stair stepper for 10 minutes that was a good work out to. Then did some ab work and some stretches. also some leg presses.

Run at the gym this am. I was not thrilled since my IPOD was not charged up I had to run it with no tunes. plus I left my towel at home that I nornally put  over the display so it seems harder when you see the display LOL. But got it in and done.

 

Also did 45 minutes of legs and abs,core.  that went pretty well felt good to be back in the gym. Tonight is swim class at ACC.  The weather is finally starting to turn nice and looks like this weekend might be decent too.  I sent off today my 10..0 registration fee for the 5K Shamrock run back in Central Point ORE. I am totally thrilled!  They will be giving out ribbons to the top 5 finishers in the age groups. THAT MEANS maybe I have a chance to get one. There will be about 100-125 people doing this run.  There are no dogs allowed, or baby strollers or headphones, so that is interesting there will be less things to try and dogged around LOL.    What is totally cool is that the race director Mike Barret whom I have talked to knows my dad from years ago workin in the mills back home.  I am like how neat is that!!!!  I would love nothing more to get a new PR for a 5k and place in my age group, would be so wonderful to get a ribbon and go back over to my parents house and show them.

I have a business function today at lunch for work so no running today. It is winter weather out a little snow and cold. Legs are feeling normal today. I did get real tired yesterday afternoon felt like I could crawl under my desk and sleep a week LOL But that passed and I am good to go now

rest day. legs are not really as sore as I expected. But this afternoon feel like I could go take a nap.
