Much faster pace than last weekends long run. Stopped twice for about 1 minute each to find my favorite trees :) God I love to be a guy on an early morning run.

Rated the run as a 5, more like a 4.5, but my from was strong and I got a chance to take my MP3. Right at the 1 hour mark, my Metalica section kicked in. Boy did that help bring the cadence back up! I think my last hour was stronger than ther first. Took awhile to stretch out the gluts, still sore from the skateboard issue the other day.

I almost feel ready to take on the Mary now. I only have one small speed bump that was unplanned. My tapper week for the Full marry will now take place in Aruba. Just happened yesterday. I will come home the night before the race. Not sure how that will affect my performance, but since finsih is goal one, and break 5 hours and better yet 4.5 is goal 2 I should still be fine.

6:30 AM, off for a 2 hour run

Missed my alarm for a longer run. Salvaged it with a quick 1 mile warm up, then a quick strech. Went for a one mile TT. Brokethe 8 minute mile for the first time in my life!

Side note, butt still sore from the fall yesterday. Oh well.

intentionaly missed this mornings workout for sleep. Day went well till after work. Wanted my daughter to go out and try riding withoug training wheels again. She declined. I broke out my 70's vintage wooden skate board. Never could ride it, but decided to try and show my daughter that it is ok to fail. Well I did fail, fell hard on my Arse! not sure if I broke my tale bone, but scuffed up my elbow good. Oh well. All smiles :)

Got up at 5 for a run. Got dressed, cleaned up packed...felt like crap. Took a couple of pepto and went back to bed. No energy all day, banged in to work. Slept like 6 extra hours and I am still tired. I am sore, but moslty joint achs. This sucks, was looking for a nice run today. Oh well tommorw will probably not be good either since I still feel like crap and am going to bed for the night. If the running gods get me out of bed without an alarm in time for a run, and I feel up to it, maybe, but a big maybe

Used a run calculator, only to find out that my guess was dead on. Guess I wish I was running a little faster, but I am sure that will come too.

The milage is a complete unknown, I will attempt to fine tune it latter.

This was a great run. Started at in-laws after a big breakfast. planned on running strait home, about 4 miles. Wife said "if you need a 2 hour run, just go, I have nothing going on right now". Headed out on the Wilmington 1/2 marry course. Took a wrong tunr taking me down 62 to N. Reading. Took 28 in tward reading an headed up Franklin. Decided to go off road to save some miles. Big mistake turn part 2. Ended up 2 miles back up road. Went to Reading center. Stopped to say hi to a cop with a new baby, and at the FD. Needed to scrounge some bandaids. Then headed up in to Wilmington. Realized how long I had been gone, stopped and called for a ride home.

2 small problems with run. First was too much bacon. About 1/2 way into the run, stopped at a Papa Ginos and hit the mens room. Stopped the watch for 5 minutes while there. Headed back out. About 1.5 hours in realized I had no socks on. Hence the need to stop at the fire station. Could have made it home without the blisters and lack of time. Up till the time I realized I was running late, the run was great! Just nice to know my legs are back!!
