Rough start to the ride on the trainer, finally realized by brake was rubbing (how does this always happen to me?) and couldn't get it to stop. I gave up and just took the brakes off completely - problem solved for the ride. :)

Tough run today, thinss started hurting lots after about 15.5 miles. I talked myself into doing at least 20, but looping near the house in case things got too bad (knowing I could convince myself to run a few extra miles). At 19.7, I passed by the neighborhood and decided I could survive a few more miles. Not the pace or feeling I had hoped for on this run, but I could have survived another 4 miles and probably hit around a 4:10 - and this was a training run. Overall, this was a good experience and I'm glad I decided to top out at 22 miles this time.

3 weeks to go!!

Missed a 4 mile run this week - just wasn't able to fit everything in! It was a crazy week at work + training, I think I did the best I could. :)

22 mile run for tomorrow, I'm excited and nervous about that. I haven't run that far in training before, but I think this will be good for me. I need to keep it nice and easy the whole way AND remember to eat before I run. I have a new audiobook ready for the occasion!

Seriously awesome run. Effort was nice and easy, good pace, I would like to repeat this feeling in a little over 3.5 weeks. :)

Tonight is the longest mid-week run of marathon training - I'm actually going to get to run outside, so it should be a good run. It should be a good way to see if I'll be able to hold my goal pace for the race. My knees have been a little grumpy/stiff the last few days, but they feel good after icing again last night. I'm hoping they will calm back down, it's wierd that they are bothering me. I generally find stiff knees when it's time to switch shoes, but it's not quite time yet based on my mileage. Hmm...

This week is really busy for me at work and with other committments. I have no idea when I'm going to fit in my Wednesday run right now, it might need to be a morning treadmill run (yuck!). I have a work function that night starting at 6:30 and meetings at work through 5PM, so I don't see an after work session happening.
