So tired. I was falling asleep watching the Olympics last night, so went to bed at 8:30. Slept in today until 6:00. I may or may not run this afternoon. This was to be another high volume training week and then recovery week next week. Maybe I need to change this.

Did a strength workout at lunch, but that is it. Rest feels good today. Rest and work, work, work.

Long morning run. Feeling sluggish. I think I am dehydrated a bit from yesterday. I didn't drink enough during the ride yesterday.

Mike and I are going to Balboa Park this afternoon to see a play at the Old Globe Theater - "The Importance of being Earnest." Good to get in some culture. LOL. Will then go to dinner somewhere near the park or downtown.

Challenging ride today. Overcast, very windy and I rode hills. I am so out of climbing shape. Dropping 10 pounds would also help! Rode north along coast to Carlsbad, turned and rode south and climbed Torre Pines. Continue south and rode through UCSD, Gilman and toward Mission Bay. Turned around and then did the inland Elfin forest loop.
