Treadmill run due to 106 degree temps.
Slow swim tonight. Very tired. The heat is draining. Swam slow to see if I could keep from coughing.

Still 100 when I headed out so I took it very easy.
Took a short break to go inside and cool off before heading out for the run. Again, took it very slow.

Bible study went long and then I got a call from my brother that took a while, so by the time I got into the pool, I had to wait for a lane.

By the time I got to the last set, I was having trouble breathing and coughing again. My last 100 was not hard and I cut out a 300 pull. I definitely think this was exercise induced asthma from the cold water. I need to use my inhaler before swimming next time and see if that helps. IMAZ water is going to be cold. I need to figure it out.

Feels so much better to run when it is 75 degrees instead of 95 degrees. No walk breaks today.

Just me and my bike today. Felt good to be out and be able to breathe. Never really pushed hard, so very pleased with the ride. Did have a couple of run ins with dogs that aren't normally out, but as I got close to them, they seemed to be more afraid of me than I was of them. Thank goodness.

Well, I got a run in. And with very little coughing. I did have to walk a little bit but I'm not sure if that was because I'm still recovering or because of the heat. It was 95. At least I'm heading in the right direction finally.
After taking 3 of the 5 prescription meds last night before bed (one is an inhaler and wasn't necessary and one they told me to wait until today to start because you have to take 6 pills the first day) I woke up this morning feeling better already. I wasn't near as congested and I wasn't coughing.
I waited to hear from them on the tests and nothing in the morning, so at 2:15 I called. She told me I was boring. Chest x-ray was clear, nothing in the urine and all of my blood labs were normal. So, this was probably allergies that turned into bronchitis and we finally got some meds to knock it out. She did suggest that at some point I go to an allergy/asthma specialist and get tested to see exactly what I am allergic to. I know I'm allergic to seasonal allergens (such as molds), but it is something I will probably do. Maybe then I'll know how to prevent it from getting this far.
With all that being said, I WILL be running tonight. It may not be fast, but it will happen.

Still around 100 degrees when I left for this ride. Also a little windier than I expected. Enjoyed the wind when it was at my back and cussed it when it was in my face. Totally drained after the ride.
