easy run this morning. 5 min w/u, then 5x10sec sprints. 6 min cooldown run. then 2 min walking.

This week is focused on a taper for what will most likely be my last sprint distance race.  I have achieved my goals as far as avg bike speed and 5k pace time already.  Late in the season I established a goal of avg bike speed of 22.0mph and a 7:30 mile pace in the 5k.   I also want to place in the top 100 out of 600+ competitors also.  I am quite confident since last year I shaved 7 minutes off my time from the previous year. If I shave off another 7 minutes this year, I will achieve my pacing goals, and most likely place in the top 100.
