Tooled around the sprint course one more time with Liz this time. Another good spin and still no pain in the leg.
First of 2 rides. This one with Kristine and MArk. One loop or the Peak Course, one loop of the Sprint course. GREAT ride - EASY and the leg felt fine.
So after Wed workout, I had a MAJOR cramp in my quad. Took 2 days to feel better, but felt OK today. Still not 100%, but good enough to give it a go tomorrow. Goal - 2:23, Podium, sub 7's on the run if my leg is OK with it. If I have pain, I will drop out and not worry about it. I can't risk Placid training at this point.

HILLY course. The typical minidouble route with nice climbs. Not 100% sure, but I don't think I've ever done this route in under 2 hours - so GOOD ride! the climbs are each almost exactly 20 minutes, so it worked well with the 3x20 min at tempo watts.
Race Report is UP!!
OKOKOK, I have not been very good on BT lately. Every evening I say I'm going to update everything, but every evening I am exhausted and just go to bed! I think getting up to open the pool at 5AM a few days a week is killing my mojo :)
Anyway, THANKS everyone for all of the support this weekend! It was SOOOO cool to have so many cheering faces near the finish line. I think this was the SWEETEST podium I've ever had :)
