So much things to do with not enough time. My bike is a mess. I have to clean it, change a flat tire and make sure it's ready for tomorrow. Speaking of bike, that fucking piece of junk is cracked. I now have the complete certainty that it's the frame that is cracked, not the paint clear coat. Now, I can hear the carbon crack/break each time I get up and torque a little. My problem isn't the fact I won't get a new one, I will. It's the fact I have to give it to the tri shop and they'll send it to Kuota. THAT is the problem. I have no idea when it'll come back. I bought a TT bike to ride it, and USE it when I race. If I send it now, I'll most probably won't have it for Texas, my only A race this season... Ugh. No worries, I'll get over it and be a grown up about it in a few hours.
On another note, I got free tickets to go see the "Grand-Prix de Trois-Rivières" from a friend. So I'll be watching race cars today and then come back home to get the bike ready. Have a good day people!

Outside swim. I was slow. Kinda pathetic but I'll try to rest and gain back the energy.
Mainly Z1-2 stuff.
15min WU through the wood...in the hood.
Then went on the track for speedwork. 1000m pace 10k, 800 pace 5k, 600 pace 5k+, 400 pace 2k, 2x200m pace all out -.
3:26, 2:49, 2:00, 1:15, 36.3, 34.6
Ankle status is "ok". Nothing major. Cut the cooldown short a little. There's hope...

Ez ride with the club. Yes it rained again, but at least it cleared up before I was too humid.
A few errands today, especially at the tri shop. I need a tire, 3 tubes, a bento box maybe, and I want them to check the bike because it cracks a lot now when I'm up and putting some horsepower. I hope it won't break in half! ;)
Cool ride yesterday. Got some rain again so I was pretty happy that I had my booties and rain coat with me. NEVER leave without them this summer here...

Good ride. A stopped a few times to check on my seat and try to adjust the angle. It's not there yet but I'm working on it.
Ate a chewy bar, a gel (just because the chocolate tastes good! :) ) and a pack of Sharkies. Didn't drunk much though. Between the rain and being aero all the time, I wasn't good on that...
Very nice. Let's go ride now...
I decided I would take a week off. Between trainings, I have to fix a few things around the house (deck, shed, etc). I won't get too carried away with the SBR since I have 2 races in a row starting this weekend but I'll try to pack some volume for my October 70.3
Today, I have to put some things together at work before leaving for the week and then, massage (yes again! :) ), LBS (for tire, tubes, Bento box, etc.) and then long ride by myself. :)

Fun ride with Yann and Andree-Anne. But kinda too slow. They were both talking and pedaling very slooowly. I mean come on! That guy can easily kick my butt on the bike and we were doing like 14mph at some point. I got in front, went very slowly in aero and later waited for them.
On another note, I got a 100$ proof I was a lazy bastard! I rode with the Kueen K, changed the front wheel and went with my training wheel, BUT I didn't change the one in the back because it's such a hassle (rear brake is in a special location on this bike). I got a flat (no air in less than 1.5 second!). My tire (90$) is ruined and the tube (12$) also. I changed it and put a patch to try not to blow up that tube too. Once everything was set up right, I realized the valve was at a 45 degree angle. I must have bent it while pumping it, so I tried to replace it with my fingers *when suddenly* it broke! Oops. The valve broke in two piece exploding in my face. :) Another 12$ gone. Yiddy yiddy I made it home and promised myself not to ride anymore with my cool carbon wheels except for races or to try it before a race.
*Me trying to be reasonable* : I didn't run after the bike. I'll spare the ankle that run and will run on Tuesday, probably or maybe wed.
Dropped on the couch early last night watching beach volleyball. Doh.
Going for a long ride this morning an possibly a 30 minute run right after if the ankle allows it. Have a good Sunday people!

1) If you're looking for me, don't try to spot me with the black/red and white bike. It's broken! I'll ride my Cannondale and try to nail that 20km.
2) Like it wasn't enough of a drama, the Tri is now a Du. The authorities said the water was contaminated. So, 2.5km run - 20km bike - 5km run. 9:30 + 32:00 + 18:30 Giddyup!
3) Phelps is an animal!
4) About time Canada starts collecting medals...
