And back.
To work. Beautiful morning for a ride.
Last day at work this week. I will be working tomorrow, but in my landlord capacity not in the usual day job.
Weather forecast for race day looks great. 21C and sunny. Nice. Let's hope it is like that on the day.
Goals for Sunday are:
- Have fun
- Race hard
- Break 2:30
Seems reasonable.
On another note, Julie has her first half day at nursery today. She was VERY excited this morning. Where does the time go?

To work. I did so miss my bike. Glorious morning too.
And back.
Tons of stuff to do this week. Will I manage to fit it all in? I hope so.
Weird late 1:30 PM start to the tri on Sunday. Should suit me, as that's when I usually go running. It also means it won't be a mad scramble to get the family organized in the morning. I'm liking it.
Have a good day everyone.

Easy run with 4*100 strides thrown in. Legs were like: "WTF" and then they were like: "Can we run a bit faster please". Wait till Sunday I say!
Post run.
I'm back.
Had a great family holiday in Portugal. Perfect mix of sun, sea and sand and going on trips to see things. Not happy to be back, but I guess I've got to pay the bills...
Training wise it was a total blowout, but truth be told, I don't care. I'll finish the final week of the taper this week and then we'll see what happens on race day. I'll certainly be rested
Onwards.
