"This bike is in a transition area from entry level to higher end bikes, so there are trade offs. This clearly isn't an entry level bike with the component group that comes on the bike. Yet, it isn't full carbon either. The alloy frame is light and performs well. The acceleration of the bike was fantastic as was its handling in the wind. For less than $2,000, this is a great first tri bike."mman

The bike is made of an aluminum alloy frame with a carbon front fork. The frame is all aero. The componets are an Ultegra/Dura Ace mix. The seatpost is a carbon aero post. The ride is smooth while the bike feels solid. No flexing. Very durable.

Still doing some tweaking but overall the fit is good. I'm 5'9" and have a 54 cm frame.

I rode 1.5 hrs today wearing my most uncomfortable bike shorts and was very comfortable in the saddle. The saddle is the stock Specialized saddle that came on the bike.

I had to raise the seatpost a lot. The aerobars are independent so infinitely adjustable.

Too soon to tell, but with an aluminum frame and ultegra/dura ace components, doesn't seem like there will be any problems.

The price for the bike is getting into where you could buy a full carbon frame. That being said, the aluminum frame is a very good ride and possibly more durable than the carbon (in an accident). The bike is very lightweight. The tradeoff is the Ultegra/Dura Ace components and aluminum frame versus a carbon frame with 105's.

If someone told me I was going to get a gold bike, I wouldn't have believed them. But, when I first saw this bike I loved it. It's a flat gold color and looks very unique and cool at the same time. It's definitely not going to look like everyone else's in transition, but it's not going to look bad either.

Got the bike from an LBS - they were awesome. Haven't had to work with Specialized at all to comment.

This is my first tri bike and I love it. The ride is great. Still getting the fit just right so comfort could improve. But shifting, acceleration and performance in the wind was awesome.

Aero frame, carbon seatpost, carbon front fork, Ultegra / Dura Ace components, carbon aerobar

Some may prefer a carbon frame in this price range.
