"Like many finding a balance between work, home and training is not easy but rather than disappointing my daughter and getting disapproving looks from her mother when I mention going for a ride I get big smiles all round. Not for every ride but to keep things moving surely its better to be out there doing something rather than being at home doing nothing? Have a look http://www.bike-tutor.com(Pictures taken from their website)."portiabb

Not the quickest to install (30 mins) but tailored to each bike to give a great fit.

Simplicity itself once fitted. Easy to use and never a hard sell to my daughter. Also can be left on the bike as it does not get in the way when riding alone.

Powder coated aluminum. Cordura seat, solid and stable.

Took a little time but worth the effort.

Perfect for passenger, my daughter has leg shields, a shapped padded seat, her own handlebars and a great view. Comfortable for me as narrow seat does not force knees apart. Can ride 1-2 hours with ease.

Very. Will fit most bikes except oversize frames.

Wash the mud off and it looks like new.

2+ years use and still as good as new. Soon to be used by 2nd daughter for the next 2 years. All very well having the lightest most high tech bike but if you can t get to ride it whats the point.

Black, shiny goes with everything! very Henry Ford.

Help line for fitting and great backup when we lost some parts (Not charged for)

A great answer to a very common problem. How to get the miles in when we work long hours AND also want to spend quality time with the kids. I very nearly gave up as could not comfortably go out on the bike when I had not spent any time at home because of work. I was never going to put training before my kids so the chance to do both works well.

Enables me to train to a level while spending time with my daughter. Although some may say the riding style and technique may not be ideal I feel its better to be out there riding in some form rather than sulking at home using the kids as an excuse for not training. My daughter has great waterproofs and loves getting muddy in winter, she remains warm and dry and can talk for miles. Importantly my daughter is involved, and does not have to sit at the back looking at my backside!!!!

Probably not for the purists out there but for a keen beginner for whom riding through the winter is all too easily missed it works. Also for some reason my daughter always seems to ask me a question at the bottom of a hill then has me gasping at the top!
