"I would recommend this trainer to anyone - I would definitely shop around, there is a huge discrepancy in pricing of this trainer at different shops and on the internet."stump312

Had some difficulty getting my bike into the trainer and making sure the wheel was straight. Then again, it could have been me just being anal.

It's a trainer - not hard to use at all. My only qualm with it was that it took a lot of fine adjusting to make sure there wasn't any wheel slippage when starting out.

This thing is a rock. Being a bigger guy, I really appreciate the heavy construction and its durability.

See "Ease of Installation" and "Ease of Use" above.

Aside from getting used to being on my bike again and the burning in the various muscle groups, the trainer's great.

Didn't have to adjust it once I finally got the bike hooked in.

While this was a gift, and I don't know how much it cost, it's worth it's weight in gold - getting on your own bike is so much better than sitting on a stationary at the gym.

Built like a tank and looks like it.

Have not had to use customer service as of yet, but from what I've heard, Kurt Kinetic has a great customer service department. That's all secondhand, though.

I would recommend the trainer to anyone. I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the trainer - there's some squeaking when the ride starts, but once the bike wheel heats up, it's fairly quiet.

Can take some abuse - like I said, I'm a bigger guy, and I'm not easy on equipment. So far, after a month of decent riding, I have had no problems.

To be honest, I really can't think of any. It's not as quiet as I thought it would be - but it's still pretty quiet. I mean, it's a trainer - if you think it's going to sound like a white noise machine, you're sorely mistaken.
