Comments:

Ran this as a 'Flag Run' with my friend Ed, a fellow Team RWB member. Just had fun and tried to focus on decent footing on all of the icy surfaces. He carried the flag on the "out", and I carried it most of the way back before handing it to him for the crossing of the finish. We passed an incalculable number of "Pink Nightmare's", "Black Bart's", "Flick's", Santa's, and old men in bathrobes. I even wore my official replica Randy scarf (but I ran out of time in making the big red snowsuit that would have kept my arms from going down).
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Post race
Warm down:

I did not forget my Ovaltine (yes, it was a post-race offering)!!

Event comments:

With a showing of the movie on a gigantic screen in Public Square after the race it was a pretty epic inaugural event to attend and the medal is a major award!

Performance: Good
Course: Out and back lollipop course - from Public Square to the A Christmas Story! House, and back. The start and finish were in Public Square of downtown Cleveland - the spot where the opening scene of the movie (the parade) were shot. We ran from there to the actual house the movie took place in, and then back to Public Square.
