Comments: The course set-up was terrific and everything from the volunteers to the post-race activities were great for the size race that it is. I would definitely recommend this marathon to anyone (except maybe first timers because of the lack of crowd support). It is a really relaxed race - you don't have to worry about being jostled about in a huge crowd, you get to see your other running friends several times out on the course and it's a really pretty area.
I'm really happy with my run. My main goal was to BQ, but I think that I'm going to take this past weekend as a "training" run and head off to West Palm beach in a few weeks to attempt again. However, I managed to knock 40 minutes off of my previous PR from just a year ago and after checking the results page this morning, I noticed that I took 3rd in my age group. Guess I need to see about getting that award shipped. :)
