  • Comments: I really liked this race. The volunteers were great and the atmosphere was very supportive. I had hoped to place, and based off of last years times, I could have. I even had a faster race then I had planned to. Unfortunatly, once again, it seemed my AG was very compettive. So I'm unhappy I didn't place, but VERY happy my bike and run improved so much. ps...just got my splits. This was an insanely competitive field. I got 8th out of 12 in my AG and I ran a pretty good race. Again, still bummed I didn't place, but man, I could not have done that race much different.

There difinately should have been more lifegaurds in the water. Things got off 15 minutes late??? Other then that, It was a nice event. Good awards and prizes at the end. Everyone was nice and. At first I was dissapointed with how poor I did at the swim. My bike was solid, my run was solid, but the swim sucked. Then I started to feel good about it. I didn't give up today. I know my weakest spot and what I need to focus on for next year. I know my strong part was when I was beaten down so hard by the swim but yet I was able to snap back mentally and physically for the rest of the race. I learned a lot in that swim today. I will remember this race for a long time and will love telling the story of
