  • Comments: Could have had more kayaks and such in the lake. A lot of the kayaks and assistance had to drift over to help the first wave at the end of the course and that left us over-40s in the beginning of the course--some folks were really struggling and a couple were in trouble. Though when asked we always said--"we're fine!" Such liars we were! I don't have too many to compare to, but everyone is very nice and it's a fun event.

  • Comments: This is 2 of 3 years they swam on beach 6 at the lake side and it has been pretty rough.

  • Comments: Perfect first race, for me at least. The swim was tough. Presque Isle is one of my favorite places, period. I'm glad I did my first tri there, even if it was typical dreary Erie weather.

  • Comments: finished 4th in A/G for the 4th time in last 6 races. if i would work on running i might get hardware again some day. but at least i beat dave
